Overview

The SK-2 is a mechanical pressure switch that starts and stops an electric pump based on pressure in a pressure vessel. When the pressure rises above the set cut-out point it disconnects the power to the pump, and when it falls below the cut-in point it reconnects it, so the pump runs only when needed.

The differential between cut-out and cut-in is adjustable, which lets you balance how often the pump cycles against how steady the pressure feels at the taps.
