Overview

The OGM-40 220V preset flowmeter is a 1.5″ oval-gear meter with a batch controller, powered from standard 220V AC mains. You dial in the litres, and the meter signals when that quantity has been dispensed. It is the version for fixed installations where mains power is already at the pump.

Positive displacement oval gears measure the fuel to ±0.5%, with repeatability of 0.03% or better. The controller counts against the preset and gives a signal at the set quantity, which you wire to stop the pump or close a valve. Pick this version when your supply is mains, and the 12V version when you run off a battery.

Questions about this product

Is this the 220V or the 12V preset flowmeter?

This one is the 220V AC mains version. If your pump runs off a vehicle or solar battery, you want the 12V DC version of the OGM-40 preset flowmeter instead. Tell us your supply and we will confirm the right one.

How do I get it to stop the pump at the preset volume?

The controller gives a signal when the set quantity is reached. You use that signal in your own switching circuit to cut the pump or close a valve. Ask us if you need help with the contactor or solenoid valve.

Can I use it for petrol?

No. This is a standard meter for diesel, biodiesel, kerosene, paraffin and light non-corrosive oils. For petrol you need an explosion-proof unit, so contact us and we will advise.
