Overview

The OGM-50 12V preset flowmeter is a 2″ oval-gear meter with a batch controller that runs on 12V DC. Dial in the litres, and it signals when that quantity has passed. It is the high-flow preset for vehicle-mounted and battery-fed fuel systems where a 1.5″ meter would restrict the pump.

Positive displacement gears give ±0.5% accuracy with repeatability of 0.03% or better, at flows of 30 to 300 L/min. The controller counts down against the preset and gives a signal you can use to stop the pump or close a valve. That makes loading a tanker compartment or issuing a fixed allocation quick and repeatable. Calibrate on site for trade use.

Can this run off a truck battery?

Yes. It is a 12V DC unit, so a vehicle battery or a solar-charged 12V bank will power it. Use a fused feed and keep the wiring away from fuel connections.

How do I make the pump stop at the preset volume?

The controller gives a signal when the set quantity is reached. Use that signal to switch off the pump or close a valve in your own wiring. We can suggest the switching gear if you tell us your pump.

Is there a 220V version?
