Overview

The YB100 is a 4 inch sliding-vane transfer pump set that moves up to 1900 L/min of diesel, paraffin or light lubricating oil. It comes as a complete motor-driven set: an 18.5 kW explosion-proof motor (YBX3-180-4) with a gear reducer drives the pump from a 380V three-phase supply. It is the largest in the YB range, built for bulk fuel depots and mine fuel bays.

Where it works

Mpumalanga coal mines and Northern Cape operations use a high volume diesel transfer pump like this to fill bulk tanks and refuel fleets fast. Large fuel depots in Gauteng and KZN move product between tanks and tankers with it, and big grain and sugar operations in the Free State and KZN use it for bulk diesel storage. It needs a proper three-phase supply.
