The DYB60 kit is a service set for the DYB-60 transfer pump, containing replacement vanes with the O-rings and seals needed to rebuild the pump head. When flow drops or the pump will not prime, worn vanes are the first thing to check, and a dyb60 vane repair kit is far cheaper than a new pump.

Where it works

The DYB-60 is a workhorse on farms, depots and building sites, and vanes wear fastest when fuel carries grit or when the pump runs dry. Look for a falling flow rate, a pump that cannot self-prime or a whine of air from the pump head. Questions about this product

When should I replace the vanes in my DYB-60?

Replace them when flow falls noticeably, the pump struggles to self-prime or you hear air whine from the head. Before you strip it, check the inlet strainer, suction hose and foot valve for blockages or leaks, because those can mimic worn vanes.

Does this kit fit the DYB-70 or DYB-80?

No. It carries model code S/A-DYB60 and is made for the DYB60 pump only. The DYB70 and DYB80 pumps each have their own kit, which we list separately. Check the model on your pump before ordering, or send us the plate details to confirm.

Do I need to replace the seals as well?

Yes, and the kit includes them. Old O-rings flatten with use and can leak once the pump is reassembled. Fitting new ones with the vanes takes no extra time and protects the pump from air leaks that cause priming problems.
