Overview

The YB80 is a 3 inch sliding-vane transfer pump set that moves up to 1000 L/min of diesel, paraffin or light lubricating oil. A 7.5 kW explosion-proof motor (YBX3-132M-4) with a gear reducer drives it from a 380V three-phase supply, all mounted as one set. It fits between the YB65 and the big YB100, and suits tanker offloading and mine bowser filling.

Coal mines in Mpumalanga and mining houses in the Northern Cape use a 1000 l/min diesel transfer pump like this to fill site bowsers and storage. Bulk depots in Gauteng and KZN offload road tankers with it, and large Free State grain operations use it for bulk diesel supply. It needs three-phase power.
