This float valve kit gives a water tank automatic fill control in one box. It combines a 20mm brass float valve, an orange ball float, a 40mm red tank connector and the fittings that join them, so the valve closes by itself when the tank is full. One kit suits tanks from 500 L up to 20,000 L, from a small rainwater tank to a large farm storage tank. Fit it with basic hand tools and stop overflow and wasted water. Which tanks does this float valve kit fit?

It is made for water tanks from 500 L up to 20,000 L. The 40mm red tank connector goes through the tank wall, and the 40/20 reducing bush steps down to the 20mm brass valve. Check that your tank has a 40mm fitting position before you order, or ask us and we will confirm.

Can I use it on a borehole or rainwater tank?

Yes. The valve closes when the float rises, so it works on borehole feed lines, municipal supply and rainwater diversion lines into a tank. It controls the water level only. It does not boost pressure or pump water, so you still need a pump or a gravity feed behind it.
