Overview

The 20mm float valve is a plastic, high capacity valve that keeps water in a tank, trough or reservoir at a steady level. As the water drops, the float lowers and opens the valve. When the level rises again the float lifts and closes it, so you do not need to check or shut anything off by hand. Questions about this product

Does the 20mm float valve come with a ball?

The box holds the 20mm valve only. You will need a float ball on the arm. We stock orange ball floats in our fittings range, and the full float valve kit already includes a ball, a brass valve and a tank connector if you want everything in one box.

Can I use it on a livestock trough?

Yes. Troughs are one of the main uses. The valve opens when the trough level falls and closes once it is full, so the trough stays topped up. Fit it where animals cannot knock or chew the float arm, and protect it with a cover if needed.
