This piston-type plastic water meter measures the water that passes through your line, so you can control your own consumption. It is a durable meter made for residential and commercial use, and it can be installed in any water management system for full control over use. The meter is model LWM22P, with a BSP 25 mm connection thread that excludes the tailpiece. See our tank accessories range.

Where it works

Water costs money, and a meter shows where it goes. Farmers in Limpopo and the Free State fit one on a borehole or tank outlet to see how much each camp or orchard uses. Landlords and body corporates in Gauteng and KZN sub-meter units, and small businesses track consumption on a tank feed. Fit it on the line after your tank outlet, such as a fitting like the threaded tank connector, and read the dial to log use. Does the meter come with tailpieces?

No. The connection thread is BSP 25 mm and the tailpiece is excluded, so you need to match tailpieces to your pipe. Ask us if you are unsure what to buy for your line.

Can I use it on a borehole or tank line?

Yes. It is a general water meter for residential and commercial use and can go into any water management system. Fit it on a clean water line, ideally after a filter, so grit does not reach the piston.

How much is delivery for one meter?

A meter ships at about 0.7 kg, which is the up to 30 kg band at R550 if sent alone. Delivery fees go up with total order weight: 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more ship free.
