Overview

This digital flowmeter nozzle is a manual fuel nozzle with an electronic turbine meter in the handle and an LCD that shows litres for each fill plus a cumulative total. It reads from 5 to 60 L/min, which matches the 40, 60 and 70 L/min transfer pumps on most bakkie and IBC bowsers, and connects with a 1″ inlet.

The digital display is easier to read than a mechanical register, especially in low light, and it holds a reading at low flow when you top up a small tank. It has a manual trigger with no auto shut-off; the operator holds the trigger for the whole fill. For fills where the operator steps away, choose the digital flowmeter nozzle with auto stop.

Questions about this product

Can I use it with my 12V diesel pump?

Yes. The meter reads from 5 to 60 L/min, which covers the 40 and 60 L/min transfer pumps most bakkie bowsers use. It fits a 1" hose. With a 70 L/min pump, the flow at the nozzle after hose losses is usually inside the range, but check with us if your pump is larger.

Does the meter reset?

Yes. The batch reading resets for each fill, so you see litres per vehicle. The cumulative total keeps counting so you can reconcile against tank dips. Calibrate it on site with a measured container when you first fit it, and again if readings start to drift.

Will it work with petrol?

No. It is sold for diesel, biodiesel, paraffin and light oils. The electronics and seals are not rated for petrol, and petrol dispensing needs explosion-proof equipment throughout. Ask us if you need a petrol solution and we will advise on safe equipment for your site.

How much is delivery to Rustenburg?
