Overview

The 4″ API male coupler without a handle is the bare adaptor half of a bottom-loading connection: it fixes to the tanker or depot pipework and mates with a 4″ API female coupler so product moves through the bottom of the tank. Choose it when your gantry, tanker or loading arm already has a handle or does not need one.

Before you order, check three things on your existing equipment: the 4″ API size, whether the female coupler on your hose or loading arm expects a handle or ring on the male side, and the condition of the seating face. A worn or damaged adaptor can leak at the joint, so replace it rather than nursing it along. Because this version has no handle, it is also the easiest to store in a toolbox or on a truck.
