Description

Overview

This 3″ dry break coupler is the female hose-end half of a dry-disconnect pair: it seals the line automatically when you uncouple, so almost no fuel drips on the ground. It connects to the 3″ male dry break adaptor on the tank or fill point and is made for diesel, biodiesel and petrol transfer lines.

Order it with the matching 3″ male dry break coupler unless your tank already has one. The 2″ female dry break coupler is the other size we stock.

Check the seals and the poppet face every time you connect, and keep the dust caps on when the fitting is idle. Dirt on the sealing face is the main reason a dry break coupling drips. Because both halves must be the same size, confirm the size on your tank fitting before you order. If you are replacing a damaged coupler, a photo of the old one helps us match it.

Dry break means the coupling seals both halves automatically when you disconnect them, so there is almost no spill. You connect the female coupler to the male adaptor, transfer the fuel, then disconnect with little or no drip. That keeps the site clean and saves fuel.
