Overview

This 200 L stainless steel proving measure is built for calibrating bulk fuel meters, such as those on bowsers, tankers and mobile fuel units. It is made from 304 stainless steel, with 316 available as an option, and graduated every 200 ml in grade 2 with a 0.1% tolerance. The opening is 296 mm, wide enough to take a high-flow nozzle without splashing. You run a metered volume into the measure and read the level against the graduations to see how far the meter is out. It is a heavy fixture, standing about 1.5 metres tall, so plan where it will sit and how you will move it.
