Overview

This 4-inch API female coupler connects a loading arm or hose to the bottom-loading adaptor on a road tanker. It is a semi-automatic design with a quick-release handle and interlock, rated for 5 bar working pressure and flows up to 135 m3/h (600 GPM). The body is hard-anodised aluminium with stainless steel parts and Viton and EPDM seals, and the whole coupler weighs 9.0 kg.

Bottom loading is standard on fuel depots, bulk terminals and tanker fleets.
