Overview

This 4″ API male coupler with handle is the bottom-loading adaptor for road tankers when you want a handle on the fitting to lift, turn and position it. It carries the standard 4″ API interface and mates with a 4″ API female coupler, so product loads and offloads through the bottom of the tank.

Before you order, check three things on your existing equipment: the 4″ API size, whether the female coupler on your hose or loading arm expects a handle or ring on the male side, and the condition of the seating face. A worn or damaged adaptor can leak at the joint, so replace it rather than nursing it along. The handle gives you leverage when the joint is stiff or the tanker is parked on uneven ground.
