Overview

This 4″ API male coupler adds a sight glass, a handle and a bronze wear ring to the standard bottom-loading adaptor. The sight glass lets the operator see product moving or the line running empty, and the bronze ring takes the wear where the adaptor seats against the female coupler.

Before you order, check three things on your existing equipment: the 4″ API size, whether the female coupler on your hose or loading arm expects a handle or ring on the male side, and the condition of the seating face. A worn or damaged adaptor can leak at the joint, so replace it rather than nursing it along. The sight glass is only useful if you can see it, so check that it faces the operator once the adaptor is fitted.
