Description

Overview

The 6,000 L vertical decant tank (model code DV6000W) is a large water tank that sits on a pallet so the outlet is set low and it drains up to 99% of its contents. Less water is trapped at the bottom, the tank cleans out more easily, and more of every fill is usable. It is 1800 mm in diameter and 2970 mm high, moulded from food-grade virgin LLDPE with a black inner liner against algae.

It is a good fit where a borehole or a booster pump draws from the tank and you want gravity to deliver as much as possible. Set the pallet on a flat, firm base and follow the pallet installation instructions before the tank goes on. For a smaller plain tank, compare the 5,500 L vertical tank.

How much of the 6000 litres can I actually use?

Up to 99%. The decant design and pallet let the outlet sit at the lowest point, so almost nothing is trapped at the bottom. That is a real gain over a standard tank, where the last stretch of water stays below the outlet.

What do I need to prepare before the tank arrives?

A flat, level, firm base that can carry the full weight, with 1800 mm of width and 2970 mm of clear height. Set the pallet first, following its installation instructions, and arrange for the tank to be moved to its final spot.
