Overview

The 2500 L underground water tank gives a home or smallholding a buried reserve of 2500 L in a body 1760 mm wide and only 1400 mm high. The thick LLDPE wall is engineered to withstand soil pressure, keeps roots and rodents out, and will not biodegrade underground. Where it works

Common jobs are rainwater harvesting beneath a lawn, grey water capture for garden irrigation, and drinking water reserves for guest lodges and clinics in Limpopo and Mpumalanga. If you need a little less, the 1750 L underground tank is smaller; for more, step up to the 4000 L underground tank.

Get a qualified builder or plumber to install it. Test for groundwater or clay soils before digging, fit a breather so the tank does not collapse when pumped out, and keep vehicles and heavy loads off the ground above. It is not a septic tank.
