Overview

The 9000 L underground water tank is a large buried reserve, 2450 mm across and 2165 mm high, for farms, packhouses and estates that need volume out of sight. The thick LLDPE wall is engineered to withstand soil pressure, resists roots and keeps animals out, and it will not biodegrade underground. It stores drinking water or grey water. Where it works

Typical sites are citrus and table-grape packhouses in Limpopo and the Northern Cape, lifestyle estates in Gauteng, and school or hospital grounds that want a large reserve without a visible tank. Treat it as a civil job. Use a qualified builder or plumber, test the ground for groundwater or clay soils, fit a breather so the tank does not collapse when pumped out, and keep vehicles and heavy loads off the area above. It is not a septic tank.
