Overview

The 1750 L underground water tank buries a family-sized supply under a lawn or courtyard. At 1430 mm across and 1300 mm high it is shallow to dig, yet it holds enough for garden irrigation or a household rainwater system. The LLDPE wall is extra thick to withstand soil pressure, keeps roots and rodents out, and does not biodegrade. See all water tanks for other sizes.

Where it works

It fits homes and small commercial sites in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape where space above ground is tight, and farm houses in Limpopo that want cool, dark storage fed from a roof or borehole. Have a qualified builder or plumber install it. Test the ground for groundwater or clay soils first, fit a breather to prevent collapse when pumped out, and keep vehicles and heavy loads off the area above. It is not a septic tank.
