Overview

The 4SD8/42 is a 4 inch stainless steel multistage submersible borehole pump from the Vega 4SD8 range, with a maximum head of 265 m and up to 10.8 m³/h (180 L/min) at lower heads. At 100 L/min it still produces 200 m of head. This 7.5kw 4 inch borehole pump runs on a 7.5 kW oil-filled motor and fits boreholes with an internal diameter of 100 mm or more.

To size it, add the depth to the water level, the height up to your tank and about 10% for pipe friction. At 100 L/min this one suits a water level of roughly 170 m with 10 m of lift above ground. Send us your borehole details if you are unsure.

How deep can I set the 4SD8/42 in my borehole?

Add the depth to your water level, the height up to your tank and about 10% for friction. At 100 L/min this pump gives 200 m, which suits a water level of roughly 170 m with 10 m of lift above ground. Its shut-off head is 265 m. Deeper than that, you need a higher-head pump.

Do the sets come with cable and delivery pipe?

No. Submersible cable, rope, delivery pipe and the base plate are not included in any option, so add those to your order or supply them yourself. Each set includes only the pump end, motor and controller listed under its option, and the pump end option is the wet end alone.
