Overview

The 10SP135/1 is a 10-inch stainless steel submersible borehole pump that moves about 90 m3/h (90 000 litres per hour) at 25 m head, and up to 180 m3/h at lower head. It is built for high-yield boreholes feeding large irrigation schemes, municipal supply and mine dewatering. Buy it as a complete three-phase set or as a pump end to replace a worn one.

Where it works

Typical jobs are centre-pivot irrigation in the North West, municipal supply from a high-yield borehole in Limpopo and dewatering on a Mpumalanga coal mine. What size borehole does a 10-inch pump need?

The borehole must have an internal diameter of at least 250 mm. Check the casing size with your driller before you order, and confirm the yield so the pump cannot run the borehole dry.

Is a starter or controller included?

The sets are listed without a starter panel or VSD, so your electrician must supply one sized for the motor. The 525 V set in particular needs a suitable starter or VSD. Ask us what we can quote for your site.

Is cable and pipe included?

No. Submersible cable, rope, delivery pipe and base plate are not included. Send us your borehole depth, water level, yield and delivery height and we will help you size the full installation.

How is it delivered to Upington?
