Overview
This is a 4 inch single-phase submersible borehole motor rated 0.75 kW (1.0 HP), supplied with a control box. It runs on 220 to 240 V at 50 Hz and draws 4 A when running. The stainless steel casing is only 95 mm across at its widest, so it goes down the same 4 inch boreholes as the pump ends it drives.
Use this 4 inch borehole motor 0.75kw to replace a failed motor or to power a new pump end. The motor length is 344 mm and the motor alone weighs 8 kg, which helps when you plan the rope and the lifting gear. What size borehole does the 0.75 kW motor fit?
It is a 4 inch motor with a maximum diameter of 95 mm, so it fits boreholes with an internal diameter of 100 mm or more, the same as the matching 4 inch pump ends. Measure your casing before you order, and allow for the cable and any joints alongside the motor.
Can I run this motor in hot or dirty water?
Keep the liquid at 35 degrees Celsius or cooler and below 40 g/m³ of solids. The motor has a sand proof cover, a pressure balance membrane and a mechanical seal, but a heavily silting borehole will still shorten its life, so have the borehole developed first.
