Overview

The 10SP135/4 is a 10-inch stainless steel submersible borehole pump rated at 45 kW, delivering about 90 m3/h (90 000 litres per hour) at 101 m head and 125 m at shut-off. It is the choice for deep, high-yield boreholes feeding large irrigation, municipal supply and mine dewatering. Buy a complete set with a 45 kW 8-inch motor, or the pump end alone.

Where it works

Typical sites are deep Karoo boreholes, large irrigation schemes in the Free State and dewatering on Mpumalanga coal and Limpopo mines. The motor needs a soft starter, star-delta panel or VSD sized by your electrician, which is not included, and we can quote the complete installation. Add pumping water level, height to the tank and about 10% for friction to get total head, and check the borehole yield first. Not included: submersible cable, rope, delivery pipe, base plate and starter. Large borehole pumps are supplied to order, so ask us to confirm lead time.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including eMalahleni, Mbombela, Klerksdorp, Welkom, Bloemfontein and Kimberley.
