2500 L Silo for Liquids and Dry Bulk, Tank Only

Description

Overview

The 2500 L silo stores liquids or dry bulk goods such as animal feed in a rotationally moulded polyethylene shell that will not rust. This listing is the silo only, without a stand, and Kamano delivers it to farms and depots across South Africa.

It is moulded from virgin LLDPE with a black inner liner that keeps algae out of liquids, and it is UV resistant and BPA free. At 1300 mm across and 2800 mm high it is tall and light, only 40 kg, so two people can position it. Fit it on a stand so that gravity can empty the base outlet into a feeder, trough or bucket.

Where it works

Cattle and poultry farmers in Limpopo and the Free State use silos like this to hold bulk feed or molasses near the pens. Vineyards in the Western Cape store liquid inputs in them, and lodges use them as bulk water. Install the silo on 100% level ground, secure it once it is full, and keep it above ground and stationary. Check that you have enough height and diameter for it.
