Overview

The 1600 L horizontal water transport tank is a tan polyethylene tank for carrying or storing water, low enough to sit on a trailer or in a tight yard. It is the standard-duty 1600 L tank, and Kamano delivers it anywhere in South Africa.

The tank is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with a black inner liner that stops algae and ribs that add strength. It measures 2400 mm long, 1030 mm wide and 925 mm high and weighs 65 kg. Choose this tank for water carting and storage where you do not need the medium duty build. If your tank sees rougher use, look at the yellow medium duty model instead.

Where it works

Farmers in the Free State and the North West put it on a trailer to move water between camps. Builders and landscapers in Gauteng and KZN carry mixing and irrigation water to sites. Secure the tank when full, use it above ground only, and install it according to the maker’s recommendations. Check that your trailer bed can hold 1600 L, which is about 1.6 tonnes of water.

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Klerksdorp, Welkom and Durban.
