1600 L Horizontal Medium Duty Transport Tank, Yellow

Description

Overview

The 1600 L horizontal medium duty tank is a strong, low-profile yellow polyethylene tank for storing or transporting liquids. Its horizontal shape suits farms, businesses and yards where a tall vertical tank would not fit or would be unstable, and Kamano delivers it nationwide.

It is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with sturdy moulded ribs and sealed connectors. The tank is 2400 mm long, 1030 mm wide and only 925 mm high, with a low centre of gravity that keeps it steady. It weighs 65 kg. This is the medium duty version of the 1600 L tank, with heavy-duty moulded construction around the body for added support.

Where it works

Farms in Limpopo and the Eastern Cape use it to carry water or liquid feed on a trailer. Workshops and depots in Gauteng and KZN keep one for bulk liquids where headroom is low. Liquid moves a lot in a part-filled tank when you accelerate, brake or corner, so fit a baffle system for transport and strap the tank to the vehicle or support structure.
