Overview

This 1000 L horizontal-tank pressure washer trailer is a petrol-powered pressure washer with its own water supply: it delivers up to 248 bar at 15 L/min, drawing from a horizontal polyethylene tank mounted on an unbraked single-axle trailer. It runs on a 13 HP petrol engine, so it works anywhere you can park it. You tow it to the job. The pump draws from the tank, so you can wash where there is no tap, no borehole and no dam nearby. A tank lasts roughly 66 minutes of continuous spraying at full flow.

Questions about this product

How long does the water last?

At full flow of 15 L/min, the 1000 L tank gives about 66 minutes of continuous spraying. In practice you trigger the lance on and off, so a tank covers a good part of a day for light jobs. A tap or bowser can top it up on site.

Do I need a tap or borehole on site?

No. The pump draws from the tank on the unit, so you can wash anywhere you can park it. Fill the tank from a tap, a borehole or a bowser before you go, and top it up when it runs low.

Do you deliver to the Karoo or Rustenburg?

Yes, our own trucks run from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days. This unit ships at 310 kg, which is over 100 kg, so the delivery fee is quoted per order. Orders from R20,000 (VAT incl.) ship free.

Does it run on petrol or diesel?

Petrol. The 13 HP engine has a recoil pull start and runs at 3400 rpm. Use clean unleaded fuel, and never put diesel in the tank. For a diesel option, look at the 10 HP units in the same range.

Can I tow an unbraked trailer behind a bakkie?

Check your vehicle's towing rating and local rules first. The unbraked trailer has a 2-ton coupler and ships with registration and roadworthy papers, but a loaded tank is heavy. If you tow often or on highways, the braked version is the safer pick.
