Overview

The 2500 L horizontal water transport tank is a low, wide polyethylene tank for carting water on a truck or trailer, or for storing it where height is limited. At 1130 mm high it keeps the load low, and Kamano delivers it anywhere in South Africa.

It is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with a black liner that prevents algae and sturdy ribs that add strength. The tank is 2280 mm long and 1540 mm wide and weighs 100 kg empty. A 450 mm lid gives easy access for filling and cleaning, and the 40/50 mm yellow outlet fitting connects to standard pipe. This tank is supplied alone, without a pump or hoses.

Where it works

Contractors in Gauteng and Mpumalanga mount it on a flatdeck for water carting and dust control. Farmers in Limpopo and the Free State use it to supply stock camps and spray rigs. Municipalities carry emergency water in tanks this size. Strap the tank down when full, because 2500 L is 2.5 tonnes of water. Use it above ground only, and add baffle balls for road transport.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Rustenburg, Mbombela, Bloemfontein and Durban.
