Questions about this product

Can I store diesel in this IBC?

Yes, HDPE handles diesel well and many farms use a 1000 L IBC as a static diesel tank. Keep it out of direct sun, stand it on level ground and fit a proper fuel pump rather than draining by gravity into open containers. It is not suited to petrol, which needs a steel tank built for flammable fuel.

Can I use a chemical-grade IBC for drinking water?

We do not recommend it. A chemical-grade bottle may have held industrial products before, so it is meant for fertiliser, cleaning chemicals, wash water and similar uses. For drinking water or livestock water, choose one of our food-grade IBCs, which are sold for contact with food and potable liquids.

What does as-new mean on this tank?

As-new means the bottle and cage are in very good, clean condition with little sign of use, but the unit is not straight from the factory. If you need to see the actual tank before buying, ask us for current photos and we will send them through on WhatsApp or email.
