Overview

The 2,000 L open-top bin with lid is a tall bulk bin, 1250 mm across and 1600 mm high (1680 mm with the lid), and weighs 55 kg. It stores a big volume on a footprint of about 1.25 m.

Where it works

Livestock and dairy farms use 2,000 L bins for bulk feed and whey, while grain farmers in the Free State and Limpopo use them for seed and fertiliser. Processors and recyclers use them as covered bulk holding bins.

Because the bin is 1600 mm tall, load heavy product from a platform and anchor the lid in windy conditions. Set it on a level base, above ground only.

Before you fill it, check that the ground is flat and firm, because 2000 litres of liquid weighs about 2000 kg and a soft base will tilt the 1250 mm bin. Rinse it first, keep the lid fitted outdoors, and empty it before you move it.

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Mbombela, Durban and Rustenburg.
