Description

Overview

The 180 L horizontal water transport tank is the smallest tank in our transport range, a light polyethylene drum-sized unit that lets one person move water around a farm, garden or site. It fits in the back of a bakkie, and Kamano delivers it anywhere in South Africa.

The tank is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with a black inner liner that stops algae. It is 850 mm long, 600 mm wide and 570 mm high and weighs only 12 kg empty. A full tank carries about 180 kg of water, so strap it down every trip. It has a 40 mm red base outlet and a 180 mm lid for quick filling.

Where it works

Smallholders in Limpopo and KZN fill it to water young trees, seedlings and chickens. Landscapers in Gauteng and Cape Town carry it on a bakkie for site irrigation, and builders use it for mixing and hand-washing water. Use it above ground and secure it once full. A baffle tube or balls are not needed at this small size, but you can add them. Installation is not included.
