Overview

The 250 L horizontal water transport tank is a small, light polyethylene tank that one person can load onto a bakkie or trailer. It carries enough water for a day of small jobs, and Kamano delivers it anywhere in South Africa.

The tank is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with a black inner liner against algae. It measures 850 mm long, 600 mm wide and 755 mm high and weighs 14 kg empty. That makes it taller than our 180 L tank on the same footprint, giving about 70 L more capacity. It has a 40 mm red base outlet and a 180 mm lid for filling.

Where it works

Smallholders in KZN and Limpopo use it to take water to livestock and young crops. Gardening and landscaping crews in Gauteng and the Western Cape load it on a bakkie for site watering, and builders use it for small mixes and clean-up. Secure the tank once it is full, because 250 L of water adds about 250 kg to the load. Use it above ground only.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Mbombela, Tzaneen and Cape Town.
