Description
Overview
This recycling hut is a large, lockable collection point that holds four separate 360 L internal bins, giving 1440 L of combined recycling capacity. It suits schools, estates, shopping centres, factories and public facilities that generate a steady volume of recyclables.
Waste separation is colour-coded: blue for paper, yellow for plastic, green for glass and red for cans. Each internal bin lifts out and moves on its own, so staff empty a bin without lifting the whole hut and without a forklift. The outer shell is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, and an internal locking system controls access to the bin inside. Delivery and warranty
Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein and Polokwane. At roughly 155 kg shipped, delivery is on quotation, so send us your site address and we will price it. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. Manufacturer warranty: 10 years, ask us for the terms. The manufacturer excludes damage from incorrect installation or use.
Questions about this product
Do I need a forklift to empty the recycling hut?
No. Each 360 L internal bin is removable and moves separately, so staff empty a bin without lifting the hut. The outer unit stays in place, and the internal lock keeps the contents controlled between collections. A simple bin trolley is usually enough for one person.
Which colour is used for which waste?
Blue is paper, yellow is plastic, green is glass and red is cans. All four colours are priced the same, so you can order one of each for a four-stream station of 1440 L, or just the colours you need. Tell us your mix when you order.
How much is delivery to Cape Town?
The recycling hut ships at about 155 kg, so its delivery is on quotation. Send us the site address and we price it. Fees run by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450 and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. Our trucks reach most centres in 1 to 3 days.
Can it stand outside on a school or estate?
Yes. The shell is virgin LLDPE, which does not rust, rot or perish, and the unit has enough weight to stay stable in outdoor wind. Set it on a level, firm surface. The manufacturer excludes damage from incorrect use, so keep vehicles and heavy loads off it.
