Overview

The 100 L open-top bin with lid is a compact round bin, 450 mm across and 700 mm high, that weighs just 6 kg. It is the size you can carry with one hand and fill from a bucket or a hose.

It is moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV-resistant and BPA-free, and the lid keeps out dust and rain. It suits liquid or dry goods in workshops, kitchens, stables and small farms. For bigger volumes browse the bins and troughs range, including the 200 L bin with lid.

Where it works

At 100 L this is a handy bin for chicken feed, dog food, mealies, mixing small batches and holding clean water. Schools, kitchens, nurseries and workshops use it for sorting and storage, and farm stores in the Free State stock them by the half dozen.

Keep it on a flat base. It is not for burying or for pressure use.

Care is simple. Rinse the bin before first use, keep the lid on when it stands outside, and wash out sticky or oily product before it dries. A full 100 L bin of water weighs about 100 kg on top of its own 6 kg, so fill it only where it will stay.
