1000 L Open-Top Bin with Lid, 1200 mm Diameter, LLDPE

Description

Overview

The 1000 L open-top bin with lid is a round, 1200 mm wide storage bin that stands 1030 mm high, or 1120 mm with the lid on. It weighs 30 kg and is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE in blue.

The fitted lid keeps rain, dust and debris out of feed, grain, water or process liquid, and the open top still makes loading easy. It is UV-resistant and BPA-free, with a smooth interior for cleaning. If you want to decant between bins, look at the 1000 L decant bin; for the full range see our bins and troughs.

Key features

• 1000 L capacity with lid
• 1200 mm diameter and 1030 mm high (1120 mm with lid)
• Virgin LLDPE, specific gravity 1.4
• UV-resistant and BPA-free
• Suitable for fluid or dry bulk storage
• Blue body for easy identification on site
• Above ground, stationary use only

Where it works

Farms use this size for loose feed, licks and grain, and packhouses in Limpopo and the Western Cape use it for produce in transit. Workshops and plants use it as a covered holding bin for water and non-hazardous liquids.

Set it on a level, stable base and do not exceed the recommended storage volume. The manufacturer designs it for above-ground, stationary use only.

Care is simple. Rinse the bin before first use, keep the lid on when it stands outside, and wash out sticky or oily product before it dries. A full 1000 L bin of water weighs about 1000 kg on top of its own 30 kg, so fill it only where it will stay.
