Overview

A 1000 L decant bin is an open-top polyethylene container built for filling, mixing and moving liquid from one vessel to another. It is rotationally moulded from LLDPE with reinforced walls and integrated ribs, and it measures 1340 mm long, 1135 mm wide and 1000 mm high.

The moulded base lets one bin sit above another, so you can build a simple gravity decanting set-up with suitable pipework and fittings between the two. Because the top is fully open, the operator can see the level and the contents while filling. Where it works

Chemical batching rooms, workshops and factory floors use decant bins to mix and transfer product without lifting heavy drums. On farms in the Free State and Limpopo, the same bin handles liquid feed supplements and dip or spray mixes.

Always confirm that polyethylene is compatible with the liquid before you fill it. Keep the bin on a level, stable surface; it is designed for stationary, above-ground use only.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Mbombela, Rustenburg and Pietermaritzburg. At roughly 48 kg shipped, it falls in the 30 to 60 kg order-weight band, which is charged at R950. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
