Overview

This 1000 litre bakkie sakkie water bowser is a horizontal polyethylene tank on a steel skid fitted with a 2.5 bar centrifugal pump driven by a 5 HP petrol engine. It carts water to wherever the bakkie can go and pumps it out through a single outlet, so one person can fill troughs, spray roads or top up tanks without a fixed supply.

At 2.5 bar the pump favours volume over throw, with about 34,800 L/h at open flow. That suits filling drinking troughs, stock tanks and site drums quickly, and wetting gravel with an open hose.
