Overview

This 1000 litre bakkie sakkie water bowser is a horizontal polyethylene tank on a steel skid fitted with a 2.5 bar centrifugal pump driven by a 5 HP petrol engine. It carts water to wherever the bakkie can go and pumps it out through an exec kit with an extra layflat hose, so one person can fill troughs, spray roads or top up tanks without a fixed supply.

At 2.5 bar the pump favours volume over throw, with about 34,800 L/h at open flow. That suits filling drinking troughs, stock tanks and site drums quickly, and wetting gravel with an open hose.
