Overview

This 1000 litre honey sucker is a single-axle unbraked trailer carrying a 1000 L IBC and a 3 inch centrifugal trash pump driven by a 6.5 HP petrol engine. The pump sits in a steel box on the drawbar, so it stays dry and harder to steal when the trailer is parked at a lodge or depot overnight.

The pump moves about 50,000 L/h at up to 2.5 bar. It is a trash pump, not a vacuum pump: it pulls waste through a 6 m x 63 mm suction hose with a filter and pushes it into the tank.
