White Close-Coupled Ceramic Toilet Suite with Cistern and Seat, 6 L Flush

Description

Overview

This white close-coupled toilet suite is a complete ceramic set: front flush pan, cistern with lid, flushing mechanism and seat. It has a single 6 L flush and is made locally by Betta, with a timeless shape that suits modern and traditional bathrooms.

The pan is fully sump-washed and glazed on every surface exposed to black water, which stops absorption and keeps it hygienic. The cistern and lid are cast, glazed and fired as a pair, so they fit exactly. High-pressure casting gives consistent, strong ceramic pieces. The maker lists the suite as SABS approved.

Where it works

Fit it in a home bathroom, a farm cottage, a guest house, a school block or a lodge. It is also the toilet that goes into our outdoor toilet units where a ceramic finish is wanted, as in the toilet unit and septic tank combo.

Installation is straightforward, but we recommend a professional plumber. A suite needs a waste connection to a sewer or a septic tank, so see the site units and septic tanks and the 600 L septic tank for an off-grid set-up. Plan for 30 kg when you lift it into the bathroom, and keep the carton upright in transit.
