This used fertiliser-grade IBC holds 1000 L of liquid in an HDPE bottle protected by a steel cage on a pallet. Model code F125 is the fertiliser version, so it suits liquid fertiliser, foliar feeds and farm-mix storage.

Growers buy fertiliser-grade units because the previous contents were fertiliser, and the plastic is used to that kind of liquid. The tank is sold as used, so ask us for photos and the exact condition before you order. Always confirm that your own product is compatible with HDPE before filling.

Can I put liquid fertiliser straight into this tank?

Yes, it is the fertiliser-grade version, but rinse it first because it is used. Check that your specific product, such as UAN or a foliar blend, is compatible with HDPE, and ask us if you are unsure. Keep it out of direct sun and on level ground, and do not stack it full.

Do you deliver a used IBC to Bloemfontein?

Yes, we deliver with our own trucks to all nine provinces, including Bloemfontein, normally in 1 to 3 days. Fees follow total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, over 100 kg on quotation. This ships at 60 kg, in the 30 to 60 kg (R950) band. Adding any other item moves the order up a band.

What is the cage made of?

The bottle sits in a steel cage on a pallet. We have not confirmed the cage finish for this used unit, so we do not state one. The cage protects the bottle and carries the stacking load when the tank is empty. Ask us for photos of the actual tank before you order.

Can I use it for water after fertiliser?

Not for drinking water. A fertiliser-grade unit is meant for fertiliser, and we do not state a food-contact rating for it. For livestock water or irrigation it can work after a thorough rinse. For anything people drink, rather choose the food-grade used IBC.
