SKD-11 Flow Switch, 0 to 15 m3/h, 1-1/4″ BSP, IP65

Description

Overview

The SKD-11 is a flow switch that sits in the pump discharge line and starts the pump when water begins to flow, then stops it when flow ceases. It handles flows from 0 to 15 m3/h and has 1-1/4 inch BSP connections at both ends, so it suits larger domestic and small farm pumps.

Because it reacts to flow, not to a pressure drop alone, it avoids the on and off cycling of a basic tank-and-switch set and helps protect a pump from running dry. It runs on 220 V AC at 50 Hz and switches up to 30 A. The IP65 rating keeps dust and splashes out, the starting pressure is 1.2 bar and the maximum working pressure is 10 bar.

For matching parts, see our pump controllers and VSD accessories.
