Overview

The HP048 is a black rotary hand pump whose 3/4 inch spout rotates a full 360 degrees, so you can point the outlet at a funnel, can or tank without moving the drum. Turn the crank and it moves about 300 cc a revolution, roughly 18 L/min, of diesel, paraffin or oil. It needs no power and has no electrics to fail.

Where it works

Farm workshops in Limpopo and the Free State use a black rotary hand pump for oil and diesel drums where the drum stands against a wall and the spout must swing sideways. Contractors, borehole drillers and small transport depots use the same pump for top-ups where the mains is unreliable.
