Nozzle Breakaway Coupling, 3/4-Inch, Aluminium

Description

Overview

This 3/4-inch breakaway coupling fits at the nozzle end of a fuel hose and is designed to part if the hose is yanked, for example when a vehicle pulls away with the nozzle still in the tank. It is the smaller of our two breakaway sizes, matched to 3/4-inch hoses and the compact and heavy-duty 16 mm and 19 mm nozzles. The body is aluminium and the whole part weighs 0.1 kg.

Key features

• 3/4-inch size for 3/4-inch hose lines
• Aluminium construction
• Fits on the swivel side of the nozzle
• Light at 0.1 kg

Where it works

Farm bowsers, contractor bakkies and depot pumps all see drive-offs, usually when a driver is in a hurry or a night-shift fill goes wrong. A breakaway coupling costs far less than a new hose and pump. It suits KZN cane farms, Limpopo cattle farms and small municipal depots using 3/4-inch lines. Pair it with the compact 19 mm nozzle or the compact 16 mm nozzle, and see all fuel nozzles. The separation force is not stated for this part, so ask us before relying on it for a given hose.

What’s in the box
