32 mm Compact PVC Ball Valve, BSP Female Threaded, 16 bar, CBV32MMT

Description

Overview

The 32 mm compact ball valve is a durable PVC shut-off valve that controls or isolates water flow in irrigation, plumbing, pool and reticulation systems. It has 32 mm female BSP threaded connections, a smooth-operating ball and a secure seal. The red handle turns a quarter turn between open and closed.

It is rated to a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (PN16). The PVC body resists corrosion, chemicals and UV, so it is suited to domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial installations, indoors or out.

Where it works

Typical uses are irrigation systems, water reticulation, swimming pool installations, water tanks, agricultural water systems, domestic and commercial plumbing, and pump installations. On a Limpopo or KwaZulu-Natal farm it is the isolation valve on a pump outlet or the start of a lateral. Its female threads take a male-threaded adaptor, so you will normally use a running nipple or male adaptor, and PTFE tape from the thread seal tape pack on the male thread. Neighbouring sizes are the 25 mm and 40 mm compact ball valves. The full range is in pipe fittings.
