Overview

The 75 L Water Trough is the smallest trough in the Kamano range, a slim 1300 mm long channel that gives cattle, calves and other farm animals a steady supply of drinking water. It weighs only 12 kg, and its 320 mm by 320 mm section fits along fences, pens and alleys where a wide trough will not. A Stockman float valve keeps it filled.

Where it works

It is made for calf pens on a dairy farm in the Western Cape, lamb creeps in the Karoo, feeding alleys at a feedlot and holding pens at a sale yard. Because it is slim, it can run along a fence line fed from a single pipe. Keep it above ground and stationary, and make sure young animals cannot fall in. Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Cape Town, George, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Bloemfontein. At about 13 kg this trough falls in the R550 band (up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, over 100 kg on quotation). Orders of R20,000 or more are delivered free.
