Overview

The 400 L Livestock Water Trough is a 2 m long plastic drinking trough sized for small herds, calving camps and paddock gates. It is moulded from food-grade virgin LLDPE that is UV resistant and BPA free, so the water stays cleaner and algae has less chance to grow. A Stockman float valve keeps the level topped up without anyone checking it.

Where it works

It is a good fit for a calving camp on a KwaZulu-Natal dairy farm, a stud paddock in the Free State or a rotational grazing system in Limpopo where troughs are fed from a gravity line.
