Overview

The 250 L Livestock Water Trough is a compact, light plastic reservoir for small camps, kraals and holding pens. At 15 kg two people can carry it to its spot, yet it holds enough for a small flock. It is moulded from food-grade virgin LLDPE that is UV resistant and BPA free, and a Stockman float valve keeps it filled.

Where it works

This size suits sheep and goats in the Karoo, a lambing camp in the Eastern Cape, calves in a pen or horses at a stable yard near Pretoria. It also works as a second drinking point at the far end of a camp, fed from a nearby tank.
