Overview

This 5,000 L bund tank is a large containment base, 2,200 mm across and 1,500 mm high, built for storage tanks of 2,500 L and 5,000 L on mines, farms and industrial sites.

The bund measures 2200 mm across and 1500 mm high and weighs about 80 kg. It is made from LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), a food-grade virgin plastic that is UV resistant and BPA free, so it is built for years outdoors. Note that the internal tank is not included: this is the base bund only, and the maker recommends internal tanks of 2,500 L or 5,000 L. It is for above-ground, stationary use only.

Where it works

Set it on a level, compacted base before the internal tank goes in. At roughly 80 kg it is a two-person lift.
